Tom S. Anthofer
Tom is a Managing Partner of Cipio Partners, a leading international investment management firm in the secondary direct market. He manages a number of early and later-stage venture capital and mid-market investments, and oversees the firm's realization and exit management functions. Prior to founding Cipio Partners in 2003, he was a Partner and Managing Director of Broadview Holdings LP (now known as Jefferies Broadview), New York/London, one of the largest investment banking and private equity firms dedicated to the Technology, Media and Telecommunications industries. Before joining Broadview in 1992, Tom was with Nomura Group (the investment house), and Mitsubishi Corporation (the trading company), in Tokyo and New York where, since 1987, he was responsible for both organizations' principal investments in medical equipment and information technology companies. Tom has a Bachelor of Art degree in Economics, and holds a Master of Business Administration from Duke University.

Friedrich Bornikoel - Chairman
Friedrich has more than 18 years of experience in venture capital and has been a Managing Partner of TVM Capital since 1997. His investment activities focus mainly on companies in the following markets: software, industrial applications, design and planning tools, telecommunications and semiconductors. Currently, Friedrich represents TVM Capital on the Board of Directors of alfabet meta-modeling AG (Berlin) and VPIsystems (Holmdel, NJ). For many years, he was a member of the board of SCM Microsystems, an early TVM Capital lead investment, and various other portfolio companies. In May 2003 he was elected to the Board of the German venture capital organization BVK. Prior to joining TVM Capital in 1987, he managed a large program administered by the Federal Minister of Science and Technology (BMFT) of public R&D grants in the area of advanced microelectronic components and sensors based on fiberoptics, integrated optics, and semiconductor technologies, as well as related design methods. Before that, he was a project leader at the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Solid State Technology in Munich. Friedrich earned his Master in Physics (Diplom Physiker) at the Technical University of Munich.

John J. DiBello
John is General Partner, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of TVM Capital's U.S. operations. He joined TVM Capital in 1993 after eight years with Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers) in Boston, where he achieved the rank of Senior Manager, specializing in the areas of high technology and venture capital, with a particular focus on IPOs and M&A transactions. He serves as a board member of the TVM Capital portfolio company, VPIsystems. In addition, he is a member of the Chief Financial Officer task force of the National Venture Capital Association (NVCA). John holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and a Master of Science in Business Administration from Bentley College. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Hank Firey - President and Chief Executive Officer
Hank brings over 30 years of accomplishments in the telecommunication and information technology industries. He has held positions of executive leadership responsibility in high technology companies ranging from being a member of the founding team of a company developing remote network management software to managing P&L in Fortune 500 global organizations. Before joining VPIsystems, Hank served as Chief Executive Officer of NexTone Communications. He took this struggling provider of telecommunication software to market leadership in Session Management for voice and video over IP networks. From 1998-2003, he successfully turned two other under-performing companies into sustainable, revenue-generating businesses. Hank also has a successful track record in worldwide sales, marketing, business development and professional services, as well as mergers and acquisitions. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Operations Research from the University of Maryland, with graduate work in Computer Science and Finance.

Pascal Luck
Pascal joined Core Capital Partners in April 2000, and concentrates primarily on the firm's technology investments. His areas of focus include the telecommunications, software and information technology sectors. He currently sits on the boards of Chorus Systems, Covega Corporation, NexTone Communications, and Trust Digital, and serves as a board advisor at Sourcefire. Before joining Core, Pascal was a Founder and Director of CrossHill Financial Group, a private, DC-based investment banking firm. Previously, he was a Senior Manager in the management consulting division of Deloitte and Touche, where he specialized in finance and strategy for the telecommunications, information technology, manufacturing and service industries. Pascal began his career as an engineer with Bell Laboratories. He earned a Master of Business Administration in Finance with Distinction from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, a Masters of Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland, and a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Engineering from Loyola College.

Casimir S. Skrzypczak
Casimir is a widely recognized expert in telecommunications network planning and evolution, telecommunication architectures and technology trends. He previously served as a Senior Vice President of Customer Advocacy at Cisco Systems for the Service Provider Line of Business. In this role, he was responsible for the delivery and support of Cisco's products and solutions to service providers worldwide. Prior to Cisco, he was Corporate Vice President and Group President of Professional Services at Telcordia Technologies. His responsibilities included the development and management of Telcordia's worldwide professional services and industry standards setting activities. Casimir was also President of NYNEX Science and Technology, and Vice President of Network and Technology Planning, responsible for the formulation of NYNEX's technology plans and network architecture, including the management and direction of its standards strategies and activities—as well as the direction of NYNEX's research and development programs, including operation of the NYNEX Science and Technology Center. He serves on the boards of JDS Uniphase, WebEx, ECI Telecom, Somera Communications and Sirenza Microdevices. He is the past chairman of the Alliance for Telecommunications Industry Solutions (ATIS), which sponsors the T1 Standards Committee and other industry forums. He is also a director of the International Engineering Consortium. Mr. Skrzypczak holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Villanova University and a master's degree in operations research from Hofstra University. He served as a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy from 1963 to 1967.
