VPIsystems to Present Conference Session at INTERNET TELEPHONY® Conference & EXPO East 2008

CEO Hank Firey to Discuss Network Management at IP Communications Industry's Leading Event at Miami Beach Convention Center in January

Holmdel, New Jersey (Jan. 10, 2008) - VPIsystems, a leading provider of network resource planning software and services for the global telecoms industry today announced that CEO Hank Firey has accepted an invitation to participate in a panel discussion on network management at TMC's INTERNET TELEPHONY® Conference & EXPO East 2008 on January 23, 2008 at the Miami Beach Convention Center in Miami, Florida.

INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO, held January 23-25, 2008, is the world's largest and best-attended IP Communications trade show. Last year's east coast event, held in South Florida in January, drew over 7,000 buyers and sellers of IP Communications products and services. The upcoming show in January will be the 17th INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO, and TMC projects total attendance to exceed 7,500.

"High QoE applications like VoIP and high-bandwidth applications like video are putting ever greater pressure on IP networks. As a result, traditional, reactive network planning strategies and tactics are starting to break down and a new proactive approach to network planning is taking their place," said Hank Firey, president and CEO of VPIsystems. "I look forward to participating in such an important and timely discussion, and know audience members will walk away with a new understanding of how they can take control of their network's evolution and ensure flawless network performance."

"We are very pleased that Mr. Firey will be participating in this year's show. VPIsystems is widely recognized and respected as an industry leader, and I am confident that our attendees will appreciate and value the opportunity to hear his perspective on network management," said TMC president and conference chairman, Rich Tehrani. "Over the past twelve months, widespread deployment of IP Communications services by global service providers, businesses and governments has reinforced that this exciting technology is a viable, cost-effective communications solution. As a result, we are seeing a significant number of senior-level executives attending INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO as a means of learning about the technology so they too can take advantage of its benefits."

Registration for the show is now open. Anyone interested may register by visiting www.itexpo.com. Limited booth space is still available as well. Vendors interested in exhibiting at the show should contact Dave Rodriguez at 1-203-852-6800, ext. 146 or at drodriguez@tmcnet.com.
