VPIsystems Names Robert Skovholt Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales

Established Telecom Leader Joins Global Network Software Leader

Holmdel, New Jersey (March 22, 2006) - VPIsystems, the leading provider of network resource planning software and services for the telecommunications industry, has announced that Robert Skovholt will head the company's Worldwide Sales division.

An established leader in his field, with 20 years of global telecom and aerospace industry successes to his credit, Rob also brings 10+ years of experience growing early-stage, privately-held telecom software companies to positions of market leadership, profitability and successful exits.

Prior to joining VPIsystems, Rob was General Manager of the Americas for Actix, a leading, London-based wireless optimization software company, of which a controlling interest was purchased by Summit Partners in 2005. Previously, he led Granite Systems, an inventory management company later purchased by Telcordia, from its early stage through the high growth years of the late 1990s, into 2001, as Vice President of Worldwide Sales. He also served as Director of America's Sales for Metrica from its inception in 1995 through 1998, seeing the company through its acquisition by ADC in 1996 and establishing Metrica and its brand as the gold standard in network performance management.

Rob holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, with graduate work in Electrical Engineering at Syracuse University as well.
