VPIsystems to Present Conference Session at INTERNET TELEPHONY® Conference & EXPO East 2009

Michael Devlin to Discuss Critical Mistakes of Network Planning at IP Communications Industry's Leading Event at Miami Beach Convention Center in February

Holmdel, New Jersey (January 14, 2009) - VPIsystems today announced that Michael Devlin has accepted an invitation to present a session titled, "Network Planning: Critical Mistakes" at TMC's INTERNET TELEPHONY® Conference & EXPO East 2009 on February 2, 2009, at the Miami Beach Convention Center in Miami, Florida.

INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO, held February 2-4, 2009, is the world's largest and best-attended IP Communications trade show. At the 2008 east coast event last January, the show drew over 7,000 buyers and sellers of IP Communications products and services. The show in February will mark the 10th anniversary and be the 19th INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO, and TMC once again projects total attendance to exceed 7,000.

"Carriers are spending more than ever to implement IP networks and deliver services that meet customer expectations, but these long, costly and difficult transformations require a new proactive approach to network planning," said Michael Devlin, Vice President of Business Development, VPIsystems. "I look forward to leading a discussion that will help carriers avoid the potential pitfalls of planning their IP networks, and to helping them walk away with a new understanding of how they can ensure flawless network performance at the lowest cost, even during a network transformation."

"We are very pleased that Michael Devlin will be participating in this year's show. VPIsystems is widely recognized and respected as an industry leader, and I am confident that our attendees will appreciate and value the opportunity to hear his perspective on network planning," said TMC president and conference chairman, Rich Tehrani. "Over the past twelve months, widespread deployment of IP Communications services by global service providers, businesses and governments has reinforced that this exciting technology is a viable, cost-effective communications solution. As a result, we are seeing a significant number of senior-level executives attending INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO as a means of learning about the technology so they too can take advantage of its benefits."

Registration for the show is now open. Anyone interested may register by visiting www.itexpo.com. Limited booth space is still available as well. Vendors interested in exhibiting at the show should contact Dave Rodriguez at 1-203-852-6800, ext. 146 or at drodriguez@tmcnet.com.
